Cristen Colleen is a highly dedicated and passionate leader in the fields of Cultural Intelligence, DEI (Diversity Equity, and Inclusion) Global Workforce Development and Identity Leadership.
For over 20 years, Cristen has focused on generating global cultural awareness, linguistic and cultural competencies by building and delivering results-oriented programs for multinational corporations, educational, government, and non-profit organizations around the globe. She works to support and maximize the potential of individual leaders (through a strengths-based formula coaching) and drive the synergetic collaboration of those unique talents among diverse teams.
Her core identity: Author, Social Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, and Community Engager (with a rule-breaker and game-changer mindset). She is a subject matter expert in foreign language acquisition, cultural intelligence, diversity/inclusion, and talent development.
Through formal education and hands-on experience working/living in other countries, Cristen Colleen has acquired a working knowledge of ten (10) languages and a handful of ‘fast-track relationship-building' phrases in numerous others.
Cristen Colleen is a Gallup-certified StrengthsFinder coach and founding member of Soar.com where she coaches and “helps individuals and organizations around the world to develop innate super-power strengths and maximize their unique talents”.
Formal studies include; M.A., Applied Linguistics, University of Illinois at Chicago; B.A., International Relations, Bilingual-Bicultural Education, Central Michigan University; Turkish, Spanish, and Portuguese language and cultural studies in Washington DC, Mexico, and Brazil.
Her current ventures find her immersed in online virtual training events (like the Global Citizen Event™), and coaching individuals, from college students to C-Suite corporate executives to soar with their unique individual strengths. Her core passion today is fueling the CulturesConnectChallenge initiative! A one-week interactive challenge for organizations to put DEI into action!
